Hi I’m Les Bruce and my goal is to get your instrument working so you enjoy your playing.
Instrument repair is a natural progression for me as I only repair what I can play so that I am confident each instrument will play at its best.
There are occasions where a new or replacement instrument is a better option so I also stock a range of reconditioned instruments.
I ‘ve been playing clarinet, saxophone and flute over the last 50 years in various orchestras, bands and big bands. I studied music at Bath University graduating with a BA (Hons) 2:1 in performance. After graduating, I had the opportunity to play with the Ron Young Dance Orchestra where I learnt how to lead a big band before starting my own big band in Swindon. I’ve played in many venues all over the south including the Cafe Royal London.
I am currently the musical director for the Apollo Big Band and continue to run my own bands of various sizes for functions and weddings.
